I was shaking, my legs couldn't move and stiff. My body shuddered and I felt the air being uncomfortable, makes me want to scream and ask for help. God, what will happen next?
I've run many miles away and I just get the same place: a forest ofshade trees, only the faint light I could see. I dove down and found myself in a landslide in the same place. I've been running andscreaming, but when I screamed, I uproar. I'm afraid. It was there thatwould follow and kill me when they knew my presence. So I hid my voice, ran quietly as I could and take refuge in the bushes when I felt the presence of others. My breath was panting, but I still feel followed. By whom? I don't know, not yet to know, or never knew.
Arrive at a place I feel more secure and comfortable. I sat down, sighed, leaned against a tree and rest awhile. I couldn't sleep, will not sleep. If I sleep, I'm afraid there will be 'something' to catch meand eat me or kill me. I don't want to end my trip soon. Not for now, as I embark on a journey to find a home. My fears began to disappear, I think half of me was resigned. But I'm trying to convince myself that I could. That I could get by this obstacle.
I'm Zawn, from Vinceryn. Vinceryn, a country known for its military power. I'm a 15 year old teenager now. 2 years ago, Vinceryn attacked by Gamoran. War between two great nations that lasted very long, and ultimately Vinceryn fell and lost. I was one of the main people who qualify. Many people who die or become laborers. If they don't want to surrender, their lives will be lost. That's how Gamoran. Threaten every citizen with the death penalty.
I'm not happy with the way they work, Gamoran. Gamoran society is too naive. I'm sure they'll get karma. They should know what the meaning of death. They know what it's supposed to be a pain. Forwhat they seize Vinceryn? They just want to add richness.
I really don't think wealth is everything, although in reality, I need the money. Now I live in the woods with some of the hidden forces. President Vinceryn has killed one and a half years ago, when both countries want to negotiate.I need some support. Our group is still a small group, and only a few people. Some people are just ordinary people, not a fighter. And some people are my friends.
"Zawn, we can't keep silent like this continue." Blandon said, my old friend. He patted my shoulder and smiled. "How long do you want to continue to wait?" He looked at me.
"Wait for what? I'm not waiting for anything." I avert my eyes.
"I know you're still hoping to Irene." The words surprised me. Irene is someone who I like, first, when I was 13 years old. She didn't come with me when I ran into the woods for shelter, when world war two years ago. I'm afraid if something happened, of disaster. Blandon is true, I'm waiting for her.
"Don't joke! I didn't wait for her!" I was denied, even though I know it's true.
"Everyone already knows, you don't need to hide it anymore."
"Shut up! I already know she's okay!"
"Can you be an adult? I don't want to argue." Blandon's gaze sharpened.
"But I ..." Brak! I fell to the ground, Blandon hit me. "What are you ..."
"You worry about her!"
Blandon stared at me, I haven't looked back. I knew he was right. I know I still hope that Irene is still alive. The fact that bitter if I know someone who I loved was gone. It's too painful to behold. I didn't want to assume it's a truth, but I also couldn't avoid. I can't rule out the fact, unless a miracle happens.
"Thanks, Blandon. And I'm sorry." I looked down.
"That's what friends are for. I'm glad you can understand." He smiled. "Now explain to me."
"What?"
"Why don't you make plans? To attack Gamoran? State had been killed of our people too much!" Exclaimed Blandon.
"I've made."
Blandon jerks. "Why didn't you tell me?! Why don't you give them know who else?! I think you believe me! And ..."
"Enough, Blandon. I had planned it, but I have a reason to not tell you the current time."
"What's your excuse?" He looked at me, I stared back.
"Listen, this problem is just me and you know. Reason why I stayed in two years, even though I already have some plans, because first, our troops are too few! Secondly, I know many people who were hiding in the area Gamoran, and will alert to help us! So I waited until I couldcontact them. Third, Gamoran guard is still too tight. we need time to fool them! And ... "
"And lastly, you are still waiting for Irene." Blandon looked at me, his gaze turns into a little smoother. "You will not know the situation if you don't forward."
"I know." I nodded. "We have time and a half years."
"Yes, any longer, I can wait."
"I don't. I have to know where Irene."
"You have to be ready with reality."
"I know. God protect me."
"I'm glad you think positively." Blandon patted my back and left.
